Our client is an established Australian financial institution that was founded over 100 years ago. They strive for a safe, collaborative, and positive working environment. They are currently recruiting for a Mobile DevOps Engineer with a passion for automation and optimization.
The successful candidate will be responsible for automating all the manual tasks for developing and deploying code and data to implement continuous deployment and continuous integration frameworks.
Role Responsibilities
- Work closely with other Mobile Engineering scrum teams and partner with Product, Project Management, Quality, and Design departments
- Ensure Apple and Android apps get built and deployed into the app stores in a timely manner (according to schedule)
- Define and help teams manage sanity, smoke, and regression automation testing suites for execution on proper builds (pull-requests, nightly, on-demand, feature, and release)
- Help maintain the build server and device farm infrastructure
- Review and help team provide proper documentation for solutions and processes
- In addition to functional, help team to develop and maintain other types of automated testing suites (performance, security/penetration, video, data).
Skills and experience
- Have a good understanding of the concepts and requirements of DevOps, particularly applied to mobile apps
- Well versed with XCode & Android management
- Looks for opportunities to automate and simplify processes & time
- Working knowledge of handling development, distribution certificates and provisioning profiles
- Experience with build CI/CD tools like Bamboo and/or XCode build servers or similar
- Continuous Build & Release Automation experience
