Our Federal Government Client is seeking a Microsoft Azure Specialist to work as part of a highly motivated and cohesive team using agile approaches to design, develop, and support Dynamics 365 online business solutions in Azure Cloud environment.

This is a long-term contract up to 30 June 2023 with extension options, located at our Client's Canberra location.

As the selected candidate, you will be:

  • Design and configure technical operational processes, practices, automation scripts, reporting, alerting within O365, D365 and other cloud systems.
  • Liaise with the operational and project teams during creation and transition of the operational model to the client's operational teams.
  • Work with operational team members to upskill them on the new operational support processes, tools used, scripts built as well as practices and procedures
  • Provision workloads and services with cloud service providers in an automated fashion.
  • Monitor operational reporting, alerting and other required support systems
  • Identify, investigate and resolve routine issues and carry out maintenance tasks.
  • Undertake analysis and report on network load and performance statistics.
  • Identify operational problems and contribute to their resolutions.
  • Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of the project team
  • Timely completion and delivery of work packages / tasks
  • Good quality design and build deliverables as demonstrated by the outcomes of peer reviews.
  • Demonstrated experience in the role of a Microsoft Azure specialist on large program delivery.
  • Experience in the facilitation of technical teams during planning, design activities.
  • Experience in handling multiple, concurrent tasks, which have competing demands.
  • An ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Ability to prioritise multiple deliverables and respond under pressure with competing deadlines.
  • Experience in providing CI/CD DevOps, Continuous Delivery and Agility practices solutions in Microsoft/Azure Technologies.

To be successful in this role you should have:

  • For Azure DevOps Specialist, minimum of 3 years' experience providing CI/CD DevOps, Continuous Delivery and Agility practices solutions in Microsoft/Azure Technologies.
  • Relevant IT qualifications/certifications
  • Extensive Experience and knowledge of using the Azure cloud platform in an Enterprise environment to deliver enterprise services and capabilities.
  • Strong IT Operations and cloud management experience, including the automation of tasks and processes.
  • Strong technical knowledge and experience in Microsoft and cloud technologies including O365, D365 and Azure, telephony, security and networks.
  • Exposure to DevOps, Continuous Delivery and Agility practices.
  • Continuously develop product knowledge and quickly learn new technology platforms and skills.
  • Demonstrated experience with the development and implementation of CRM Portal solutions and/or ADX Portals
  • Demonstrated experience with the migration of Dynamics On-premises solutions to the Microsoft Azure cloud platform
  • A proven track record in Microsoft technologies (Microsoft Power Platform - Dynamics 365, Azure Cloud platform, O365 etc) and overall application program delivery concepts.

Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian Citizens who have existing Federal Government Security Clearances.
