Level 2 Support Engineer

The successful candidate will be a positive, energetic and dynamic individual capable of supporting sophisticated IT systems. Your broad technical skill set will ideally be supported by your previous experience working in a technical support role.


Role Responsibilities

  • Handling Level 2 Support and troubleshooting using enterprise level technology platforms via private cloud infrastructure for a global customer base.
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and natural problem-solving skills, as well as consistency in your approach to service delivery.
  • Mentoring and coaching of Level 1 Support teams & providing guidance when necessary
  • Maintaining your workload and showing initiative across multiple projects and BAU responsibilities


Skills and experience

To apply for this role applicants ideally must be able to demonstrate three to five years' experience with most of the following:

  • Technical / helpdesk support
  • IT systems administration
  • Network configuration and troubleshooting
  • Microsoft Remote Desktop Services (RDS) environment
  • Microsoft Exchange / Active Directory services
  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • Experience with a wide range of Microsoft desktop and server operating systems and products
  • Microsoft Office 365 / Azure experience
  • Hyper V and/or VMware virtualization technologies
  • Extreme Networking technology solutions
  • Prior experience working in a MSP environment would be highly advantageous
