Our client is seeking an experienced SQL Database Support Analyst to join their successful team. The team is responsible for maintaining, supporting a banks SQL environment.
Your responsibilities in the role include:
- Determine and resolve issues promptly using excellent communication skills to deliver resolutions to customers and relevant teams
- Technical troubleshooting for issues raised
- Escalate problems where necessary
- Identify, recommend and plan technical and business process improvements for our services, such as automating repetitive tasks
- Develop in relation to queries, basic development
Successful candidates will offer the following skills:
- Level 1 experience and desire to work at level 1
- SQL database support experience - Max 4 years
- Strong knowledge and experience with MS SQL, XML
- Strong knowledge and experience in scripting, database queries, application and server troubleshooting, log file analysis
- Basic database development skills
- Solid knowledge in .NET software support ideal but not essential
- Previous experience providing application support and managing enterprise applications
