About the role:
As part of the Experience Design team, you will lead a small team working closely with the Mobile Banking team to deliver design work across both iOS and Android mobile banking applications. This role will play a significant part in enhancing the overall quality of the customers experience, taking responsibility for user research and identification of optimisation to deliver a seamless customer experience.
* Lead the planning, execution and delivery of design work
* Lead a small team and ensuring design thinking methodologies are at the heart of their work
* Run hands-on design thinking activities and initiatives
* Ensure design choices made by the team scale and fit within larger established systems and within the future products
* Collaborate with all areas of the business, in order to constantly improve ways of working and ultimately the quality of our product and service delivery
* Work closely with the Experience Design Manager and other Experience Design Leads to improve the whole Experience Design team efficiencies
* Educate the business around customers and Human Centred Design
Skills and experience:
* Extensive experience in a Human Centred Design role
* Expertise in mobile application design
* Experienced working in an Agile environment
* Strong ability to engage key stakeholders and knowing how to build and maintain relationships
* Solid experience using Sketch and InVision
* Proven experience in managing other designers is a plus
* Passionate about providing the ultimate customer experience
