Overview:
We are currently recruiting for a Lead Engineer - Cloud to work with one of the Australia's Retail Giant. You will be a Technical Leader for a Cloud Engineering squad team
- Responsible to ensure engineering standards in the team, accountable for the technical design. Drives quality initiatives, coaches and mentors' others
- Deals with architects and stakeholders on technical road map, vision, requirements. collaborate with the Engineering Manager on pragmatic balance between tech/project work
Skills required:
- Proven experience leading software development teams /squads at a complex enterprise level;
- Proven experience in software development especially in a cloud native applications:
- Strong development skills including:
- languages (Python, Java, .NET, Javascript)
- Devops pipeline and process development
- scripting skills (Perl, Python, Bash, Powershell)
- Experience with on-premises and cloud deployments
- Expert knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tooling such as Terraform and Ansible
- Strong development skills including:
- Strong experience rolling out complex reusable pattern into cloud environments.
