To meet a growing appetite to build and extend their advanced data analytic capabilities, our client is looking to hire a lead data scientist who will work senior management across their portfolio of large foods businesses to build machine learning solutions which will deliver advanced analytics capability.
Reporting to the Head of Business Intelligence, and with the support of the senior management group, this role offers opportunity to have ownership for identifying and building solutions which create the most business value.
The requirements are simple:
- 50% coding: you will bring deep technical expertise in ML, Python and AWS (ideally with AWS SageMaker experience) with proven experience owning ML solution delivery within large enterprise data and businesses environments.
- 30% business parenting: You will work with senior management across multiple businesses to understand their key business drivers, and gain buy-in and confidence for how ML solutions can enable their businesses and help drive growth.
- 20% Project Management: You will oversee successful solution delivery working with technical delivery and integration teams, BI team and data engineering teams.
Experience within large scale manufacturing businesses, building optimisation solutions for customer demand and orders with manufacture output would be ideal.
