Our Client:
Our client is a large supermarket retailer who is currently going through significant change within their Information and Digital Squad. They currently have 5 Senior Cloud Data Engineer roles and ONE Lead Data Engineer role available for initial 6 month contracts.
About the role
You would be involved in:
- Develop data ingestion into Databricks Delta tables using Azure Data Factory
- Deliver cloud solutions on Azure leveraging automation for standardisation, repeatability and agility
- Assist and provide guidance on best practices for use of Cloud technologies
- Provide post implementation and warrantee production support
- Liaise with business stakeholders and translate requirements to technical solutions
- Provides design and documentation at an application or function capability level.
To be successful for the role, you would ideally:
- Hands on experience working on Python programming
- Extensive experience working within the Azure cloud environment
- Azure Data Factory
- Databricks
- SQL
- Experience working with Snowflake
- BIG PLUS: Working within a Retail Domain
