Peoplebank are recruiting for a Junior Test Analyst with 2+ years commercial work experience to join one our client, based in Adelaide on a permanent, on-going basis.

As a Test Analyst, you will work in an Agile environment and carry out test analysis, test design, test execution and test automation to ensure the delivery of a robust production environment to support the values and objectives of my client.

You will perform specialised and general testing of my client's software platform with timely and accurate reporting on testing status as part of our project scrum teams. You will be responsible for testing Story and Bug tickets each sprint and approving them for the weekly releases.


Responsibilities

  • Work on established core products as well as greenfield products and services
  • Work closely with product owners and external stakeholders to deliver results aligned with our mission
  • Work with a range of modern tools and technologies, primarily on the AWS platform
  • Work with us to build out a scalable, cost-effective, global platform as we expand into international markets
  • Provide feedback on customer requirements and story/bug tickets
  • Attend the daily scrum and planning/retrospectives to provide feedback and estimates
  • Document tests for new functionality
  • Execute test cases and revising and maintaining regression test case suites, both manual and automated
  • Write and execute test cases for defect fixes


Skills and experience

  • 2+ years relevant Test Analysis experience in a commercial work environment.
  • Knowledge of software testing procedures and methodologies
  • Strong understanding of the process to develop test plans, test cases and other data in line with testing methodologies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills


Any experience of the below would be a bonus, but not essential:

  • Working in JIRA and Confluence to create/update tickets and create/update documentation
  • Experience in lean and agile best practices
  • Experience in Cypress or similar testing suite
  • Experience in Git source control
  • Experience in Microsoft Visual Studio Code
  • Experience working in scrum
