About the role

Our client is looking for an ambitious, experience applications developer or Jnr Architect who has completed AWS certification to work closely with a Project Manager, Enterprise Architect, and Integrations Architect and development team.

The experienced team will be able to provide formal training and support to develop your career into an experienced Snr Cloud Applications Architect.

Responsibilities


  • Understand the existing technology landscape and current application workloads
  • Capable of deploying automation infrastructure by utilizing the AWS Cloud Formation technique in a DevOps environment.
  • You'll be the primary technical associate of the business improvement team in assisting responsible for creating applications and services on the AWS platform.
  • Define Migration strategy to move applications to the cloud.
  • Set up process, services and tools around the AWS cloud
  • Develop architecture blueprints and detailed documentation. Create bill of materials, including required Cloud Services (such as EC2, S3 etc.) and tools
  • Design the overall Virtual Private Cloud VPC environment including server instance, storage instances, subnets, availability zones, etc
  • Design the AWS network architecture and HA/DR strategies including VPN connectivity between regions and subnets
  • Oversee building of the environment
  • Execute a migration plan



Required Skills and experience

* Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject

* AWS architect certification strongly preferred

* Strong portfolio of projects design and delivery

* Should be able to perform activities enlisted above
