About the Role
A leading national financial organisation is about to kick of an exciting project and is looking for talented Java Developer to be part of the project team to deliver it. You will be involved in moving legacy applications over to Microservices applications. The systems will be built and deployed using DevOps practices and AWS services.
Responsibilities will include:
- Implement software solutions to deliver high quality products and features
- Implement software engineering frameworks
- Experiment with new tools and processes
- Contribute continuously with innovative input in development and design
- Work with cloud based solutions
- Work with Business Analysts & UI Designers to offer technical input
- Work with Solution Designers and contribute to solution design
- Work with test teams
About the Successful Candidate
- Designing and coding of Java J2EE applications with AngularJS
- Experience in software engineering in multiple Cloud Infrastructure/AWS environments is a must have
- Experience with Spring framework and Spring Boot
- Tertiary Qualification in either Software/Computer Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Software Programming or similar
Technical Environment includes:
- Experience with OAuth, SAML and Open ID
- Experience with delivering and leveraging RESTFul JSON APIs
- AWS and cloud experience with understanding of DevOps and engineering practice management
- Build Management tools (Gradle, Maven, Ant)
- Development experience using source systems (Git, SVN)
- AWS certifications desirable
- Good understanding of Quality Control and Test Automation in Agile-based environments
