Analyst Programmer
Initial 6 month contract
Recruiting 5 Java Developers for a well-known client ASAP start is ideal
Must have expertise in the following areas
- Backend Java development experience including the new features of Java 8
- Object Oriented principles and design
- Agile software development
- Spring Framework
- Strong understanding of Continuous Integration principles and tools like Jenkins, Maven, Gradle
- Strong data analytics skills and problem solving approach. Ability to resolve production incidents under pressure
- Strong understanding of configuring and administering Linux and Windows
- Some experience with shell scripting, network and middleware
- Ability to automate appropriate manual tasks
- Testing automation
Desirable:
- Financial Markets and Traded Products relevant to G20 and MiFID II reporting requirements and front office apps like Murex, Calypso
- Apache Camel
- Spring Boot
- DevOps practices and deployment automation tools (Puppet, Ansible, Docker)
- Functional Programming languages - Scala, Groovy
