Job Description:
The primary duties of the role include:
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or related discipline (Desired)
- 3 to 4 years' java development experience in an enterprise environment
- Experience with IBM Message Broker (also known as IBM Integration Bus or ACE), MQ or other integration technologies, ideally with certification in one or more of these products
- Devops experience (desired)
- AWS experience (desired)
- Customer focus: skilled ability to interpret and analyse customer requirements; influence design solutions in-line with BT strategy; utilise established internal and external networks to promote innovative solutions for customers
- Skilled ability to handle complexity and uncertainty
- Ability to analyse complex systems
- Strong presentation and written communication skills
- Strong relationship management skills; ability to communicate well with diverse stakeholder groups
- Strong internal consulting skills including facilitation
- Ability to work independently
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility and resilience in responding to multiple changing priorities
- Systematic and disciplined approach to planning and organising
- Skilled ability to work in a dynamic team, contributing to the overall goals of the team
- Appropriately challenges direction taken in delivery of results when decisions are inconsistent with successful outcomes
