Our client, a global Resources company are seeking an Integration Architect for a permanent role based in Brisbane CBD. Our client is looking at adopting API to drive a micro services architecture.
You will act as the Subject Matter Expert for API Integration technologies within Information Systems and Technology. This includes architecture, solution design and operational accountabilities.
You will:
- Provide deep architecture, solution knowledge and subject matter expertise to customers and suppliers to shape projects and oversee quality of technical integration delivery
- Contributes to strategy within the relevant architecture, solution development and operational function areas.
- Identify Continuous Improvement Opportunities for solution development and operations
- Integration Solution Design
- Ensure technical solutions and activities undertaken by suppliers are delivered to a high standard, in line with agreed processes, development standards and meet or exceed agreed expectations
- Validate the design of new or existing solutions, maximise appropriate usage of the existing assets and integration into the existing environment.
- Ensure existing enterprise architecture and guidelines are applied to appropriately meet the original customer requests.
- Develop APIs
To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:
- Extensive architecture, design and delivery experience in field of expertise (API and MuleSoft)
- Strong ability to drive continuous improvement and application of emerging technologies
- Solution oriented, with excellent team member leadership skills and supplier relationship skills
- Good negotiation and influencing skills, and confidence to operate at all levels of the organisation
- Ability to operate across culture and extract value from virtual teams dispersed globally.
- Experience in implementing large scale global IT projects
