Looking for an Instructional Designer to work within the Banking Industry work.

The successful candidate will work with the Change Team to build and deliver appropriate learning plans and material.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with a Learning Needs Analysis
  • Reviewing and where possible repurposing existing materials (from both the Business Fulfilment Centre and Bankers)
  • Identifying gaps
  • Designing and building materials to create the training program
  • Potential opportunity deliver the training program in a train the trainer approach
  • Develop a project management plan
  • Own training/induction budget and schedule
  • Identify resource requirements, if any
  • Identify and contribute to stream risks, issues, assumptions, constraints and dependencies
  • Select a design and development model appropriate for the initiative and target audience
  • Select and/or modify existing instructional materials
  • Develop instructional materials
  • Design instruction that reflects the diversity and maturity of the learners - immediate and future
  • Evaluate and assess instruction and its impact
  • Identify, manage and document signoff on all materials from key stakeholders

Key skills include:

  • Communicate effectively in visual; oral and written form - small and large groups, workshops and training sessions
  • Selection of fit for purpose media
  • Demonstrate an ability to grasp technical content
  • Strong stakeholder engagement in readiness for implementation of courseware materials
  • Develop training/induction program materials
  • Strong analytical skills: job, task, process and/or content
