A leading Tier 1 Resources client is seeking an Infrastructure Solution with a broad knowledge across Infrastructure and Data Centre technologies. This position is conveniently located in Perth CBD and offers an initial 5 month contract with extensions. Remote based candidates anywhere in Australia will be considered.
Key skills:
- Demonstrated knowledge working with various Infrastructure tools including but not limited to: Data Centre, Storage and Backups, Virtual Machines, Server and Cloud
- Review vendor design proposals and provide technical reviews and documentation
- Assist with architectural direction to the wider team and create High level and low level designs
- Expert in design, installation and commissioning of infrastructure solutions in a wide range of large scale and diverse organisations
- Drive strategy, technology road maps and business solutions
- Enable development of key strategies and solutions
- Act as the Subject matter expert to provide directions across the business
- Demonstrated background and technical understanding with Data Centre migrations and refresh is essential
- Strong infrastructure and enterprise architecture framework knowledge (TOGAF, ArchiMate, UML, etc.)
- Technical understanding of one or more of the following vendor requirements: DELL, Commvault, NetApp, Cisco UCS, VMwate ESX
- The ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
- Experience working in enterprise, commercial environments ideally in the Resources sector
