One of the leading Financial Services companies in Australia, is looking for an experienced Information Security Analyst to join their team.
This is a role working in the Security Operations Centre and ensuring all operational processes are completed to triage, respond to and escalate incidents when required.
You will be monitoring, analysing and respond to alerts and determining the root cause and then containing, remediating investigating and counteracting the threat or threats to the bank.
We are looking for someone who is studying or has studied IT/Computer Science with a focus on Cybersecurity.
You should also have a strong technical background including network technologies and protocols as well as a good understanding of IT Security principles, best practices, and guidelines.
Key to this role will be a strong analytical and investigative mindset and excellent communication skills. You should be passionate about driving outcomes and getting results for the business.
This role does require after hours rostered shift and weekend work as it is a 24x7 environment.
