Our client a leader in its field is currently looking for an IT Vendor Manager to join its IT team. Working closely with business stakeholders you will be responsible for developing and managing the IT vendor performance and contract review process. You will also be responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of service by working with both in-house and external technology resources.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Developing and managing the IT vendor performance and contract review process, and software agreement
- Meeting with vendors at regular intervals to provide feedback on performance
- Managing vendor purchase and work orders, ensure receipting and adherence to IT budgets, including
- Work with vendors to manage resource allocation and prioritisation of resources to approved programs of work
- Work with vendors on escalated issues to ensure resolution
- Report on operational Service Level Agreements (SLA's) and project delivery schedules
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Tertiary qualification in either Information Technology, Business, Law, or related discipline
- Previous experience as a Service Delivery Manager or IT Vendor Manager
- Previous experience in managing IT budgets
- Proven experience working in Service Delivery Management across a range of technologies
- Strong stakeholder management skills, vendor management skills and IT engagement skills
- Experience with ITIL practices and procedures
