Our client is seeking an experienced IT Technical Support Analyst to join their reputable and growing company. Based in Sydney CBD, the role will be heavily focused on monitoring and managing an onsite support vendor.

The role:

  • Working for a leading mid-sized company in Sydney CBD in an IT support role
  • This is a senior role where you will be responsible for IT function across the entire business
  • Managing an onsite vendor by proactively monitoring the service delivered
  • Play a lead role in approving technology recommendations by vendor for tech upgrades
  • Supporting user groups across the company's state offices
  • Play a subject matter expert role for the company's current and future state technology stack
  • Manage initial logged calls all the way to resolution with the support of a vendor

The candidate:

  • Highly experienced Help Desk, Technical Support, or Service Desk professional
  • Must be willing to manage a vendor who performs the technical work
  • Experience coordination and managing an onsite vendor - Must
  • Background in making technology recommendations
  • Confident working with and supporting senior leadership
  • Experience with project-based work. Eg, PC roll outs
  • Technical knowledge of Windows Stack (Win 7/8/10, Server, AD, Group Policy DNS/DHCP etc), Office 365 support skills, Network Administration, Virtualisation, Desktop / Laptop support
