About the role
Purpose: Provide computer support and advisory services to staff via helpdesk and assist in providing a stable IT base for users and to enable users to make effective use of systems.
Location: West Pennent Hills - may require some travel to Coffs Harbour and regional offices (rare)
- Australian Driver's License necessary (own car preferrable)
- All travel expenses covered by the client
The client is open to considering graduates looking to get a foot-in-the-door in the IT industry. Limited experience may be considered!
Responsibilities
Helpdesk Support
* Attend helpdesk during hours as agreed with IT Operations Manger
* Provide first point of contact for IT-related staff enquiries
* Escalate as required, IT issues to senior IT staff within IT team
* Log all issues in FreshService ITSM
* Maintain all procedures as directed by Service Delivery TeamLeader
Operational and Technical Support
*Provide computer support to staff including assisting staffremotely, identifying problems/faults in systems and hardware toprovide solutions in a responsive and client focussed manner.
*Escalate administration and technical support with corporatesystems and commercial software to Senior Engineers.
+System Admin, Hardware/Software Management
Skills and Experience
* Experienced in ITSM skills for customer support
* Relevant tertiary qualifications.
* Experience in a commercially focussed corporate environment with a LAN, WAN and Server environment.
* Experience providing I.T. Helpdesk style services and the provision of direct support to users in a commercially focussed and regulated corporate environment.
* Experience in maintaining and supporting current Microsoft Office applications and operating systems.
* Experience in using the following systems
o Microsoft Active Directory and domain
o Intune
o SCCM
o FreshService ITSM
