Our client is seeking an experienced IT Technical Support Analyst to join their reputable and growing company. Based in Sydney CBD, the role will be heavily focused on monitoring and managing an onsite support vendor.

The role:

  • Be responsible for IT function across the entire business
  • Perform all level 1 and 2 technical support and pass level 3 work to vendor
  • Working for a leading mid-sized company in Sydney CBD in an IT support role
  • Managing an onsite vendor by proactively monitoring the service delivered
  • Play a lead role in approving technology recommendations by vendor for tech upgrades
  • Supporting user groups across the company's state offices - 100
  • Play a subject matter expert role for the company's current and future state technology stack
  • Manage initial logged calls all the way to resolution with the support of a vendor

The candidate:

  • Willing to work a part time contract with potential to go permanent or full time hours
  • Experienced Help Desk, Technical Support, or Service Desk professional
  • Managed a MSP or worked for an MSP
  • Background in making technology recommendations. Eg Future state, PC upgrades, bringing services to cloud based platforms
  • Can translate complex tasks into easily understood terminolgy
  • Technical knowledge of Windows Stack (Win 7/8/10, Server, AD, Group Policy DNS/DHCP etc), Office 365 support skills, Network Administration, Virtualisation, Desktop / Laptop support and some mac
  • Travel to other states once a month
