Our client is seeking an experienced IT Manager or equivalent to join their reputable and growing company. Based in Sydney CBD, the role will be heavily focused on managing external supplier relationships (MSP) as well as playing an IT leadership role from a directional change and modernisation point of view.
The role:
- IT leadership role providing strategic diretion and operational oversight
- Partner with business leaders to encourage interoffice connectivity of offices
- Responsible for managing an external managed service provider - proactively monitor service
- Deliver key projects that allign to business success
- Play a key role in deciding on the IT strategy and structure with support of management
- Be the face of IT for the company and be responsible for the IT function across the business
The candidate:
- Must be an In-House experienced IT Manager working for a company with outsourced IT function (MSP)
- Role is primarily project and strategy focused
- Worked in an environment with an outsourced IT function (MSP)
- Must have experience managing the performance / Relationship of an MSP
- Experience working in multi-site environments and bring solutions together
- Able to demonstrate knowledge of modern collaboration and file share technologies
- Strong experience within a cloud centric environment and transitioning to cloud
- Has a strong strategic outlook and with experience transforming infrastructure for a business
- Project Management capability and experience running business projects
- Technical knowledge of Windows Stack
