Our client is based in the Perth CBD, looking at expanding their IT Project Management team, with a focus in Infrastructure Project Managers. There are opportunities for 3-6 month roles, with extensions available after initial contract lengths.
The role:
You will be working with multiple projects at one time, focussing on IT infrastructure projects such as Domain decommissioning and Active Directory security review and restructure
Duties:
- Leading project planning sessions
- Coordinating staff and internal resources
- Managing project progress and adapt work as required
- Ensuring projects meet deadlines
- Managing relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Designing and signing off on contracts
- Overseeing all incoming and outgoing project documentation
- Designing risk mitigation plan
- Conducting project review and creating detailed reports for executive staff
- Optimising and improving processes and the overall approach where necessary
- Managing diverse teams
Essential skills:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Previous experience working with in the IT infrastructure project management space
- Prince2, PMBOK or other recognised qualifications
- Negotiation skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships
- Commercial and business awareness
- Good communication skills - both written and verbal
- A keen eye for detail
- Ability to work with time constraints
