Our Federal Government Client is seeking the services of an experienced and practiced IT Delivery Manager / Agile Project Manager for a contract role. This opportunity is an initial engagement until June 2020, with extension options and is working from our Client's south Canberra offices.
Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian Citizens who currently hold or are able to obtain Federal Government Security Clearances to apply.
Within this role you will manage the IT component of business solutions for projects using the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile development practices, processes and tools. You will also be responsible for monitoring the progress of the Sprint on a daily basis, in order to achieve Sprint deadlines and objectives.
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- Demonstrated experience working as a Delivery Manager / Agile Project Manager in a large-scale environment
- Proven experience managing and running Agile/Scrum rituals including sprint planning, scrum meetings, iteration reviews and retrospectives and developing Agile artefacts
- Exemplary stakeholder management skills, with the proven ability to deliver results within agreed schedules and budgets
