Our client, a leader in its field is currently looking for an experienced IT Capacity Analyst to join its IT team on a permanent basis. In this pivotal role, you will be ensuring capacity purchased is appropriately sized and managed over its useful life. Working closely with multiple teams across IT you will ensure information on running services is accurate and future demand for capacity is evaluated and incorporated.
Responsibilities will include:
- Develop and maintain capacity plans for the ICT division (Server, Storage, Network)
- Ensure health reports are generated that reflect the current lifecycle and capacity status of all services
- Collaborate with the Vendor Management team to forward plan vendor engagements and contracts, required to enable lifecycle and/or capacity plans
- Analyse performance data to identify issues, bottlenecks and recommending alternative resolutions
- Produce monthly service forecast reports, to highlight impending risks and/or known issues.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Degree in IT or relevant discipline
- Previous experience as a Capacity Analyst/ Planner
- Experience in lifecycle planning, reviewing vendor support matrices, release cycles, patch management
- Experience in service reporting
- Strong technology planning skills
- Previous experience with Service Management tools (preferably ServiceNow)
- ITIL V3 certified, and knowledge of service management processes.
- Excellent Communication Skills
