Our Federal Government Client is seeking ICT Procurement Specialists to provide specialist end-to-end procurement to meet business needs, achieve value for money outcomes and reduce the risk for the Department.

This is a long-term contract until 30 June 2023 with 2x12 months extension options, located at our Client's Canberra location.

As the selected candidate, you will be:

  • Providing strategic and high level procurement advice to Senior Executives;
  • Developing and managing tender documentation;
  • Developing new and utilising existing standard contracts;
  • Developing and maintaining software, hardware and services procurement processes and procedures;
  • Providing software licence compliance advice;
  • Providing risk advice;
  • Seeking legal advice as appropriate.

To be successful in this role you should have:

  • 5+ years demonstrated experience in government procurement and tendering processes of varying complexity
  • Strong understanding of the Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including preparation of procurement documentation
  • Strong engagement skills, including ability to liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of software, hardware and service licence models.

Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian who have a the ability to obtain a Baseline Federal Government Security Clearance.
