Our Federal Government Client is seeking ICT Procurement Specialists to provide specialist end-to-end procurement to meet business needs, achieve value for money outcomes and reduce the risk for the Department.
This is a long-term contract until 30 June 2023 with 2x12 months extension options, located at our Client's Canberra location.
As the selected candidate, you will be:
- Providing strategic and high level procurement advice to Senior Executives;
- Developing and managing tender documentation;
- Developing new and utilising existing standard contracts;
- Developing and maintaining software, hardware and services procurement processes and procedures;
- Providing software licence compliance advice;
- Providing risk advice;
- Seeking legal advice as appropriate.
To be successful in this role you should have:
- 5+ years demonstrated experience in government procurement and tendering processes of varying complexity
- Strong understanding of the Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including preparation of procurement documentation
- Strong engagement skills, including ability to liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of software, hardware and service licence models.
Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian who have a the ability to obtain a Baseline Federal Government Security Clearance.
