About the Company
We are currently recruiting for a ICT Business Engagement Manager to work within a dynamic team environment within a Government Agency.


About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating ICT engagement requests. This will include communicating the ICT engagement process, conducting research, undertake and preparing requirement analysis, and facilitating solutions sessions with a range of stakeholders.


Responsibilities

  • Communicate, build, and maintain effective working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including senior executives.
  • Assist with the implementation of all ICT Business Engagement activities.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of an ICT Business Engagement model that reflects new ways of working.
  • Serve as an ICT Business Engagement Subject Matter Expert (SME).
  • Triage ICT Business Engagement requests, ensuring that requirements are gathered upfront.
  • Investigate complex technical problems assigned to the team and engage others to assist in addressing such problems.
  • Engage with business stakeholders at all levels to manage service delivery, building strong relationships and managing service reviews.
  • Foster a positive culture within the ICT Services Branch, aligned with Agency values.
  • Assist the Assistant Director of ICT Business Engagement to coordinate and facilitate the ICT Business Engagement process.
  • Work collaboratively to deliver consistent advice to business areas on the ICT Business Engagement Process.
  • Deliver professional communication to stakeholders and the OCIO using a range of mediums including email, SharePoint, and Confluence, maintaining document version control.
  • Manage confidential and sensitive information.
  • Foster a positive culture within the ICT Service Engagement Directorate.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.


Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in ICT Business Engagement or equivalent.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to meeting agreed work targets and standards.
  • Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail.
  • Proven strong relationship and stakeholder engagement skills, particularly with ICT technical staff and a variety of stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills, including an ability to communicate, both orally and in writing, in a clear and confident manner.
