Job Description

ICT Asset Specialist

  • Permanent role in the Perth CBD
  • Understanding of ICT Assets & software renewals
  • ICT vendor management experience

An industry leading company based in the Perth CBD is seeking an experienced ICT Asset Specialist for a permanent role that will be responsible for the administration and management of ICT Assets, software renewals and ICT vendor administration.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and track the area of the ICT operating budget covering software and related assets
  • Manage and review ICT asset environment and review ICT asset utilisation, performance and expenditure
  • Negotiate cost-effective pricing structures for changing requirements
  • Review changes in software or ICT asset requirements and usage
  • Analyse and review invoices from major ICT service providers
  • Conduct required analysis to inform procurement and financial decisions
  • Develop and maintain policies, standards, processes, systems and measurements that enable the organisation to manage the ICT asset portfolio
  • Work with and influence ICT vendors to harvest software licenses and optimise costs
  • Ensure compliance with required standards and consumption levels for ICT assets

Key skills:

  • Must have proven commercial experience working with ICT Assets/ licensing management or a similar position;
  • Previous ICT vendor management experience;
  • Experience working within enterprise level environments is preferred;
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills;
