ICT Asset Specialist

An industry leading company based in the Perth CBD is seeking an experienced ICT Asset Specialist for a permanent role that will be responsible for the administration and management of ICT Assets, software renewals and ICT vendor administration.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and track the area of the ICT operating budget covering software and related assets
- Manage and review ICT asset environment and review ICT asset utilisation, performance and expenditure
- Negotiate cost-effective pricing structures for changing requirements
- Review changes in software or ICT asset requirements and usage
- Analyse and review invoices from major ICT service providers
- Conduct required analysis to inform procurement and financial decisions
- Develop and maintain policies, standards, processes, systems and measurements that enable the organisation to manage the ICT asset portfolio
- Work with and influence ICT vendors to harvest software licenses and optimise costs
- Ensure compliance with required standards and consumption levels for ICT assets
Key skills:
- Must have proven commercial experience working with ICT Assets/ licensing management or a similar position;
- Previous ICT vendor management experience;
- Experience working within enterprise level environments is preferred;
- Excellent communication and documentation skills;
