About the role -
A NSW State Government Department is looking for an Application Developer that contributes to the development and refinement of software web and multimedia applications that facilitates the achievement of business outcomes and improves business efficiencies and processes through leveraging technology.
Responsibilities -
- Balance competing demands to ensure projects objectives are achieved
- Contribute to technical projects and prepare specialized code as required by the product definition to enable application development
- Complete testing and gather feedback to improve the quality and reduce operational risk of developed applications
Experience -
- Experience working in structured document authoring environments
- Experience working in SGML/XML based authoring environments
- Experience working with structured FrameMaker or other XML editors (e.g. xMetal)
- Technical knowledge of legislative document management systems and/or non-relational text databases (e.g. TeraText )/noSQL databases
- Experience working with JIRA/Confluence in administrator capacity
- Experience working with Bitbucket in developer/administrator capacity
