Our client is looking for a Hosting Operations Engineer for a 12-month contract. This role will be day to day support managing the IT infrastructure in the Perth CBD.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure availability of critical data centre infrastructure through monitoring and management
- Critical incident resolution, drive incidents to close
- Establish root cause of incidents and work to ensure continuous improvement
- Identify trends for forecasting and planning impacts
- Ensure adherence to SLAs for Availability, Incident and Problem resolution
Skills:
- Experience providing data centre operations services
- VMware (HyperV)
- Citrix/Virtual desktops
- Windows Server operations (Windows Server 2012)
- At least one of the following:
- Storage technologies (EMC - Data Domain, VNX, Isilon)
- Compute technologies (CI/HCI platforms - EMC VxBlock, VxRail, Cisco UCS)
- IT Service management processes and tools (ServiceNow)
Desirable:
- Unix/Linux
- Microsoft SCCM, SCOM
- Microsoft HyperV
- IP Networking
