It is looking for a Head of PMO to join its IT team on a permanent basis. Working closely with business and technical stakeholders you will head a best practice PMO to support the delivery of a portfolio of strategic and transformational projects. The ideal candidate will have the ability to lead organisational change and work well with senior stakeholders.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the design and development of strategic aims for IT project portfolio
- Oversee the strategic planning of the IT PMO
- Provide program, change and resource management guidance for IT projects
- Lead and manage the IT PMO staff
- Implement workforce planning
- Design and oversee project governance and project monitoring
- Implement financial strategies for the IT PMO office and ensure key cost and income priorities and appropriately budgeted
Essential skills and Experience
- Degree in IT or relevant qualifications
- Previous experience as Head of PMO
- Solid experience and knowledge in managing a PMO including governance processes, metric setting and reporting
- Ability to develop and maintain PMO Operating models
- Solid financial management skills
- Excellent Communication skills
