Full Stack Engineer- permanent position
Responsibilities:
- Assist in defining and scoping projects
- Development of solutions for the analysis and interpretation of data
- Participation in the development of architecture, selection of implementation technologies, systems and products
- Software development from backend technologies all the way to front end interfaces
- Participate in innovation workshops to collaboratively ideate with clients
- Development and presentation of prototypes to prove value of capabilities and technologies to clients
- Researching innovations in technology which can be applied to the rapid prototypes which are implemented
Being a full stack developer, we are looking for someone who is well versed in the following technologies and have the following experience:
- Understanding of software development, DevOps and architecture principles
- Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Git, Jenkins, build automation tools (e.g. Maven), and containerisation technologies
- Experience in working with APIs and web services
- Experience/knowledgeable in object-oriented development (e.g. Java, C++, Go, JavaScript)
- Experience/knowledgeable with HTML5, CSS3, jQuery and AJAX
- Desirable experience with various data sources (e.g. SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, etc.)
- Desirable experience with Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform and Cloud.
- Experience/knowledgeable working with teams who run agile and sprint-based methodologies
- Some experience in UI & UX Design, utilising tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud products, Sketch and other design-based toolsets
- Experience/knowledgeable with technologies including:
- Front-end development experience with exposure to technologies like AngularJS, React.js, React Native
- Back end development experience, working with web technologies such as networking, virtual infrastructure to deliver capabilities such as data processing and storage systems
