An award winning, global commodities company is seeking a Full Stack Developer for a permanent role that will be responsible for development & testing utilizing AngularJS & Java Development, within a Cloud environment.
Responsibilities:
- Client-side web development using AngularJS in a cloud environment;
- Server side development using Java, within a cloud environment;
- Database management & administration;
- Software design, coding, verification & documentation for complex applications & scripts;
- Take User Experience design into consideration;
- Defect triage & management;
- QA best practise procedures;
- Development estimation & scheduling;
- Occasional out of hours customer support.
Key skills:
- Strong experience in a server side OR API development role;
- Experience with client side OR UI development role;
- Experience with Java, Spring, Hibernate & MySQL;
- Experience with the Angular & JavaScript development;
- Familiarity with Cloud Services (AWS);
- Previous experience working with Agile Methodology;
- Experience working within DevOps environments;
- Previous experience with automated testing;
- Strong analytical ability'
- Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written;
- Ability to work within a team environment or independently.
