Your role
My client is currently seeking an enthusiastic, self-driven individual with a strong work ethic and a can-do attitude to join our team as a Full Stack API Software Developer.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Information Systems Manager, your primary responsibility will be to assist with all aspects of the software development lifecycle for our suite of software applications under the leadership and guidance of the Senior Developer.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- creating and delivering enterprise integrated solutions
- full stack development and design of API solution for third party integration with the LES application suite
- improve and maintain new and existing applications
- contribute to all aspects of the software development lifecycle.
While your main responsibility is to lead the API solution, there will be opportunities and expectation you will contribute to the remainder of our software development and data management efforts.
Skills
You should have the following essential skills and experience when applying for this role:
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications or demonstrated relevant, equivalent professional experience
- 3-5 years working experience in the IT industry
- Proficient in API development and RESTful services
- Proficient in C#, .NET Framework and .NET Core
- Proficient in MS SQL and query development
- Secure coding practices
- Some experience in Microsoft VB.Net and .Net Framework for desktop applications will be a bonus
- Some experience in Microsoft Office Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) will be a bonus
- Some exposure/experience in extracting data from Microsoft Excel spreadsheets into MS SQL Server/MS Access will be a bonus.
