Role Purpose
The role of Frontend Developer is responsible for turning the vision and roadmap of the
team into reality. Including designing, developing and maintaining applications software.
Core responsibilities
Manage a functional area or a collection of related activities to achieve identified objectives.
Provide advice for a variety of diverse tasks or problems based on the application of judgment in their area of expertise/responsibility.
Development: Work with Business Analysts to analyse business processes, procedures and
user requirements in order to establish system requirements.
Support: Create development and support documentation and provide advice regarding
applications to enable support function to work pro-actively
Testing: Undertake complex testing activities in relation to software solutions ensuring these
meet agreed specifications
Risk
Proactively manage risk, meeting all policy and compliance requirements; perform controls;
adhere to process and procedures pertinent to role; and escalate events, issues or breaches as
they are identified (risk accountability forms part of all roles, as everyone is responsible for
managing risk and compliance).
Accountabilities:
Design & Build quality working software on the platform
Create and maintain documentation in accordance to the software built
Development of front end and/or back end code to deliver the features described in stories as per the prioritised jira backlog.
Completed stories in Jira with tested artefacts
Peer review, coach and provide leadership on the latest application frameworks suitable for digital forms
It is expected that the role holder will most likely have the following qualifications and
experience:
* Technology experience
* Experience in Application development and / or support roles
* Experience in providing technology client service
Salary $65 - $85K
