Our client, an Australian iconic telecommunications enterprise, are looking for a Frontend Developer to join their TV & Content Product Development team. An initial 6 Month contract with a good chance of extensions.
Responsibilities:
* Contribute to next-gen platform rebuild
* Build new Web Application and API/microservices features
* Design and build reusable UI components
* Improve application performance
* Ensure stable and high quality of each release
* Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
* Using tools to identify and fix the App exceptions and issues which are impacting customers
* Using tools to identify and fix video streaming and API related issues
* Optimization of SEO for Web App
To be successful, you would ideally have:
* Experience in developing applications using React JS and api/microservices using node.js
* Extensive experience using JavaScript, HTML5, CSS/CSS3, LESS/SCSS, AJAX, JSON, jQuery
* Experience with AWS or GCP stack, particularly with serverless stacks such as Lambda , Dynamo DB, Beanstalk
