SiteHive was born from the Antler Program, Australia's leading start-up accelerator/funding initiative. They were one of 12 technology innovation ideas awarded an initial $100,000 investment.
SiteHive recognised that environmental monitoring hardware and software for large scale construction projects used old technology, was significantly expensive and could only be operated by scientific experts. Partnering with the construction industry, they built a hardware prototype the SiteHive 'Hexanode' which could be deployed to give construction environment managers easy access to noise, vibration dust and water monitoring, reporting & control. The plan was to build 30 Hexanode's, but to meet customer demand this became 120, which combination with their bespoke cloud-based software are now monitoring environments on the biggest construction projects across Australia.
Two and a half years down the track, with an incredible surge in revenue and massive demand from a growing industry, their sites are firmly focussed on two key development areas.
