Our clients are undertaking major transformation initiatives to implement programs which would enable them to build a sustainable future. This is an exciting phase and will comprise multiple work streams operating in parallel.
Key accountabilities
- Develop end-state enterprise technology architectures, strategies and standards
- Develop, communicate and implement ICT cloud migration strategies
- Provide expertise, leadership, guidance and support to solution architects and project teams in the development, communication and full lifecycle management of enterprise aligned architectures
- Propose appropriate "as-a-Service" solutions to the individual domains within ICT landscape
- Identify interdependencies between major technology projects and propose mitigation techniques
- Work as part of a multi-discipline team developing long term technology strategies and roadmaps including definition of roadmap projects, costing and benefits
- Providing enterprise architecture governance, driving the delivery of immediate outcomes and championing the adoption of architectural standards and Enterprise Architecture repository
- Providing a balanced point of view when understanding the need for strategic and tactical investments
- Managing and supporting the mitigation and resolution of architectural issues and risks
- Identifying and evaluating new and emerging technologies and associated services and providing appropriate advice to key stakeholders
- Engaging with external consultants as required supporting the definition and delivery of the enterprise architecture program
Essential skills
- Minimum 5 years' experience in an Enterprise Architect capacity
- Extensive experience in leading multiple Datacentre migrations projects in large enterprise organisations
- Extensive experience in developing enterprise level architecture in Cloud and Data Centre technologies
- Ability to negotiate, consult and persuade in a business and technical environment
- Demonstrated experience in developing, communicating and maintaining technology architectures, strategies, policies and standards
- Broad experience in a wide range of information systems technologies and technical architectures
- Degree qualifications in engineering, IT, computer science or similar discipline.
