Our client is an Innovative Global company looking for an Embedded IoT Engineer to join their high performance team.
The Role:
You will be responsible for the design, development, testing and supervision of manufacturing for IOT Lighting control product. Working within the R&D and production team, you will collaborate with other team members to create and update the next generation of world class lighting control systems.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with R&D team to create and modify our products
- Design and development of printed circuit board assemblies
- Design and development of Firmware and Software
- Producing architectures for electronics systems
- Directing production with manufacturing and testing of new product
- Supporting the manufacturing/ production team with electronic/ design related issue
- Troubleshoot and analyze defected electronic products
- Liaise with the Product Team to ensure all manuals and documentation are current
- Provide technical support and recommendations for new and existing products
- Evaluate systems and recommend design modifications or repair
- Inspect products/ systems to ensure they meet safety standards and applicable regulation
- Evaluating operational systems and recommending design modifications to eliminate issues
- Train and inform the production team of new products
Skills and knowledge:
- C/C++, Python, PHP
- Linux OS & Bash scripting
- Agile
- CI/CD process
- Understand drawings and technical electronics specifications
- Digital and Analog electronics
- Familiarity with CAD packages (Altium Designer)
- PCB design (Schematic, Layout, High speed)
- DFM
- Complex problem solving and methodical mind
