This Fintech recognised as one of the leading disruptors in the financial services space in Australia. They are well funded and have assembled a strong Digital team.
They are now embarking on several key projects to ramp up their API Strategy and as a result they are on the lookout for a Team Lead for their API Development Team.
You will be a strong hands on coder (Node. JS and Microservices focus) who can provide leadership, day to day management and guidance to team members.
Your time will be split 60 % hands on coding and 40 % managing people
In order to be considered for this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
- 10+ years experience as a software engineer, fluent with Javascript
- 3+ years hands-on Enterprise NodeJS development experience
- Broad knowledge of modern microservices patterns in a cloud native context
- Proven leadership ability
- Previous experience in a People Management role is essential
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- DevOps knowledge
- Experience with JIRA and Github
- Strong communications skills
