The development team are embarking upon a project to build a replacement solution for our existing metadata repository website.
The successor solution will be a bespoke Azure hosted ASP.NET Core application built upon a largely document-oriented XML data model within Microsoft SQL server. This project is highly data-centric and will require a strong XML skillset to succeed.
The role
The team are looking for a developer who has a strong background developing, validating and transforming XML data to help us refine our database model and schemas, build a repeatable process to migrate the existing XML data into the new database structure and support delivering XML content to users via ASP.NET core web pages and web APIs.
You must be an Australian Citizen to apply due to security clearance. Great way to get into Federal Government.
Experience needed
- Strong experience developing web applications using ASP.NET Core with C#.
- Strong experience developing with Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience developing with XML data, XSD schemas, XSL templates and XPath queries.
