Our high-profile Federal Government Client is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer for a Content Management System / Website migration project. This is an initial engagement until December 2019 and is working from our Client's offices in the Parliamentary Triangle.
Within this role you will be required to assist with the migration of websites from a variety of CMS tools and hosting environments. The primary focus of the DevOps role will be managing the ongoing enhancement of the Client's open source hosting platform. The platform uses Docker, Kubernetes and OpenShift to manage the development and deployment of more than 250 websites. The project will utilise Agile methodologies and has a strict, tight delivery timeframe, working across multiple agencies.
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- Highly proficiency with Bash or other scripting languages, Ansible (Tower/AWX) and demonstrated experience using REST/GraphQL
- Demonstrated experience with CI/CD/pipeline optimisation (GitLab preferred)
- Demonstrated experience with Docker / Kubernetes / OpenShift administration
- Demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team in an Agile environment
- A working knowledge of Drupal, PHP and JavaScript, testing frameworks and automation
