About the Role:

This is an onsite role providing second-level end user IT support and problem resolution at our site in Ballarat for 3 days a week. You will occasionally need to provide remote support to other locations if each site's primary lead is on leave.

Responsibilities:

  • Desktop PC & Laptop Hardware installation, setup and configuration, problem diagnosis and resolution.
  • Support of MS Teams meeting room equipment.
  • Facilitating user training sessions.
  • General IT troubleshooting and assistance as required on site.
  • Assisting with project work.
  • Occasional participation in afterhours / weekend support & deployment activities as required.

Skills and Experience:

  • 1 year experience working in an IT environment and roles.
  • Have experience in supporting IT technologies including PC & Laptop Hardware support, Windows 10 operating systems, Outlook, MS Teams, MS Office and have a basic understanding of networking.
  • Your attention to detail, natural curiosity, ability in problem solving, planning and priority setting coupled with a strong focus on customer service will put you in good stead for this role.
  • A driver's license is a must for this position, as you will be providing support to few sites.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to commit to regular and punctual attendance are critical.
