About Role:
Our client is looking for Desktop Support Engineer & Lead (FIFO) This role is an initial 6-month contract working for a key mining client.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting clients in the mining and resources industry
- Provide technical and remote technical support.
- Audit infrastructure at remote mine sites
- Perform installation, repair, and maintenance on DC infrastructure.
- Work closely with infrastructure and application teams to ensure timely delivery of service. Demonstrate initiative and always maintain a high degree of professional conduct.
- Recording of the exciting infrastructure servers, computers printers etc.
Key experience:
- Communicate with stakeholders.
- Updating and documenting relevant information.
- Workstation software & hardware configuration and testing
- Project planning and deployment, Service Management
- Desk side support technician giving support to a significant number of customers.
- Print device support (multi-function printers, standard printers, plotters, thermal printers, bar-code printers
