Our client is a Perth based organisation working in the commodities trading space. They have experienced consistent growth over the past 5 years and are now looking to expand their team to include a permanent Devilery Manager.

The Role:

You will lead and deliver multiple projects, throughout the full product lifecycle to ensure the successful delivery and release of multiple products within scope, quality, time, budget to achieve valuable outcomes for our customers.

Duties will include:

  • Ensuring products are delivered to budget, schedule, quality outcomes and agreed scope utilising Agile methodologies
  • Working with the Product Owner and customers to continuously manage project scope and delivery by identifying and scheduling critical milestones, dependencies and activities
  • Create and maintain project schedules and project plans
  • Plan and coordinate upcoming product releases
  • Manage releases within a release cycle schedule
  • Provide regular visibility of project progress, risks, issues, dependencies, and project health
  • Ensure DevOps team understand status, schedule, and scope to ensure that milestones are met within project/release timelines
  • Creating and maintaining relevant project and release documentation to effectively report to on progress/outcomes to key stakeholders
  • Contributing to creating a high performing and continuous learning team culture

Skills required:

  • Continuous, commercial experience with project and release management of large-scale digital products
  • Strong and proven experience with leading large-scale projects from initiation to go live and ongoing releases in production
  • Extensive experience leading, influencing, and negotiating to senior stakeholders to deliver to an agreed outcome
  • Experience and facilitation of Agile practices (Scrum) within hybrid methodologies (Agile/Waterfall)

Ideally you will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Computer Science or Information Technology
  • Scrum master qualifications
  • PMBOK and/or Prince2 certifications
