About the role
Our client holds an iconic presence in the retail industry. They are looking for a Delivery Lead, who will be part of a much larger project team specifically delivering online project changes.
This is an initial 6-month contract role.
You would be involved in:
- Lead workshops with business stakeholders and development teams to improve understanding and performance
- Build a truly effective and collaborative team culture
- Work successfully with offshore, onshore & vendor development and test teams
- Control the scope of the development and manage any change
- Work with the business to develop robust business cases
- Develop and maintain the overall project plan
- Engage with and manage stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of the project
- Create, maintain and track all the key project issues and risks and ensure that these are reviewed on a regular basis
- Track all financials seeking input and review from all key stakeholders, advising on any issues with financials asap
To be successful for the role, you would ideally have:
- Have strong experience delivery Online projects
- Have great facilitation and great communication skills
- Strong team motivational and leadership skills
- Be able to relate to both business and technology people
- Workshop leadership and facilitation
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work round obstacles to get things done
- Strong Leadership skills in taking people with you to achieve challenging goals
- Eye for quality
- Self-starter
- Works well within a team
