We are looking to hire a Senior DataStage ETL developer/Designer for one of our premier clients. This role plays an integral part of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure that goals and objectives of new business development requests are accomplished within prescribed time frames. The incumbent must consistently aim to deliver quality services and/or solutions that meet business requirements and ensure that goals are accomplished in line with business objectives.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Experience with ETL processes such as Datastage
- Experience in batch processing, SQL (Oracle & Teradata)
- UNIX scripting experience essential as is experience using Autosys scheduling.
- Must have ability to work as a functional analyst in the design phase and produce quality code with little or no rework in build phase.
- Must have test scenarios, test case preparation and ability to mock up test data to validate code quality.
- Ability to work in an agile environment with frequently changing priorities.
- Experience within Financial\banking domain
- Nice to have JIRA, GITHub and Octopus experience.
