Datastage/ COGNOS Developer
Duration: Initial 12 months + 2 x 12-month extension
Location: 532 Beams Road Carseldine (hybrid working arrangement, 50% WFH)
About the role
Provide maintenance, support, and life-cycling activities for our corporate DataStage and COGNOS platforms. We are also looking for this position to assist in the migration of DataStage workloads and COGNOS reports to cloud technologies and platforms such as Azure and AWS.
Skills and experience
The DataStage / COGNOS Developer will:
- Strong knowledge of DataStage 8.7 or later
- Comprehensive technical knowledge of the Cognos Analytics
- Enterprise BI solution design, implementation and BAU activities.
- RDBMS (Oracle & SQL Server), Strong Analytic skills
- Data Modelling, Advanced SQL, Control-M and Unix Scripting
- Knowledge of incident management and change management
- Produce designs for application changes and implement the changes
- Migration of DataStage workloads and COGNOS reports to cloud technologies
