Our client a leader in its field is looking for a Data Analyst to join its IT team. Working closely with HR stakeholders and the Change Manager you will be responsible for providing evidence-based analysis, guidance and recommendations to the HR function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilise, integrate, analyse, and contextualise workforce and workplace data from various source systems to derive meaningful information
- Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements for reporting purposes
- Create visualisations of data and communicate strategically relevant insights clearly and concisely to a range of business stakeholders to support organisational decision making
- Develop and implement a workforce analytics plan that incorporates regular monitoring, review and analysis of key workforce data
- Explore and understand data sources and perform data analysis
- Develop reports/dashboards to present insights and analytics to stakeholders across the department
Essential Skills and Experience
- Tertiary qualification in IT or relevant discipline
- Proven experience in data analysis/ insights
- Previous experience working in a data rich environment
- Experience in presenting data and insights to a wide range of stakeholders
- Experience with HR information systems is highly desirable
- Extensive experience in Excel, data management and reporting software
- Proven experience using ETL to manipulate, transform and manage the import of data from multiple disparate sources to a SQL Server
- Proven experience in the use of analysis and reporting tools such as SQL Server Reporting Services, Power BI or similar
- Previous experience within HR will be highly desirable
