The business was built on the foundation of privacy by design to address data quality issues, connect all parties and unique customer data across assets and to intelligently automate recurring revenue streams, such as customer support, maintenance, licensing and subscriptions. The company is headquartered in Sydney, Australia, with offices in the United States, United Kingdom and Singapore.

Our client is currently looking for a Data and Insights team Lead to join their rapidly growing team.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Design and collect data from business processes and various sources
  • Interface with clients to gather requirements and communicate recommendations
  • Adopt best practise in data governance and data analysis
  • Model data for operational reporting and extracting insights from data streams
  • Manage the data team tasks and priorities using an agile approach

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience as a Data and Insights Team Lead
  • Proficient in SQL queries
  • Experience in designing and building ETL/Data Pipelines
  • Experience in designing and building data warehouses and data marts
  • Proficient in data visualisation such as Excel/Tableau/Power BI

It would also be highly desirable to have any knowledge of:

  • Statistical programming (R or Python)
  • Financial and customer metrics
  • Agile processes and management tools
  • Data services running on Azure Cloud Services or Amazon Web Services
  • Exposure to data governance legislation, policies, and procedures
